Terms of Service

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These terms cover your use of Monad Design, including its iPad companion and local development tools provided by Monadix Labs, Inc. By using the product, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization.

1. Product Scope

Monad Design is a visual implementation workspace for running mobile apps and coding agents. The current preview supports local iOS development on macOS. Features, supported targets, and availability may change. You provide the required development environment, project, and compatible coding agent.

2. Open Source License

Monad Design source code is distributed under Apache License 2.0. Your rights to use, modify, and distribute that code are governed by that license and applicable third-party licenses. These product terms do not replace or restrict rights granted by those licenses. Monad Design and Monadix names and branding are not licensed for misleading endorsement or impersonation.

3. Your Projects And Responsibilities

You retain your rights in your source code, screenshots, design references, and other content. You must have permission to use and share the projects and information you connect. You authorize the processing needed for the workflow you initiate. Do not use the services unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious code, or access systems or devices without authorization.

4. Agent Changes And Review

Coding agents can change source files and run development commands. Generated changes may contain errors, security issues, or unintended behavior. Review diffs, maintain backups or version control, test results, and approve changes before relying on or shipping them. A visual preview or accepted variant is not a guarantee of correctness or suitability.

5. Third-Party Services

Coding agents, model providers, development platforms, package registries, and connected services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and fees. You are responsible for your accounts, credentials, and any charges from those providers. We do not control their availability or output.

6. Preview Availability And Warranties

Monad Design is provided as available and, to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. Open source software warranties are governed by its license. Features may be changed or discontinued; keep independent copies of your work.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Monadix Labs, Inc. is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of these services, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability for licensed open source software is governed by the applicable license.

8. Stopping Use And Changes To These Terms

You may stop using Monad Design at any time, stop connections from agents or companion devices, and shut down Core on your Mac. Removing a saved Mac from the iPad only clears the local connection record; it does not revoke access to Core. Stopping use does not change rights granted under open source licenses. Updated terms will be published here with a revised date and apply to subsequent use, subject to any notice required by applicable law.
