Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This policy describes information handling for Monad Design, including its iPad companion and local development tools provided by Monadix Labs, Inc. It distinguishes data processed on your devices from information shared with us or the services you connect.

1. Local Projects And Visual Context

Monad Design works with the projects and app targets you choose. Its local tools process project paths, configuration, session state, screenshots, interface information, annotations, design references, requests, and preview evidence to support visual editing. Project configuration and captured evidence are stored locally and excluded from Git by default. Screens and logs can contain personal information or secrets from your app; use test data where possible and review what you capture and share.

2. Coding Agents And Paired Devices

Visual context and requests are made available to the coding agent you connect so it can inspect and edit your project. Your agent or model provider may transmit and retain that information under its own settings and privacy policy. Local storage does not mean the entire agent workflow stays offline. Connect only trusted devices on trusted networks. The pairing code confirms the initial connection; it does not provide ongoing device authentication. Stop the connection and shut down Core when it is not in use.

3. iPad Camera, Pairing, And Data Exchange

The iPad companion uses the camera only for optional QR-code pairing. Entering connection details manually does not require camera access. Connection addresses and pairing information are stored locally on the iPad. Simulator images, touch input, annotations, and requests are exchanged with the Mac you choose. “Forget Mac” clears the saved connection record on the iPad; it does not revoke access on the Mac. To stop access to Core, shut down Core on your Mac.

4. Use And Sharing

If you contact us or submit an issue, we receive the information you provide, such as your email, message, and attached diagnostics. We use this information to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, and improve Monad Design. Public repository issues are visible to others; do not include secrets or private screenshots. Information you send to coding agents, model providers, or support services is subject to their policies. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention And Your Choices

Local project artifacts and session data remain on your devices until removed through the relevant tools or local storage management; uninstalling an app may not remove every artifact. You control your repositories and captured evidence and can remove saved connection records on your iPad. Removing a connection record does not revoke access to Core. We retain support correspondence only as needed to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, and meet security and legal obligations. Connected providers control their own retention. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, or to exercise rights available under applicable law.

6. Security And International Processing

Protect your Mac, iPad, project files, and agent credentials. Use Core only on trusted networks and shut it down when not in use. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Coding-agent, model, and support providers you use may process information in countries other than yours under their applicable privacy practices and safeguards.

7. Children And Policy Changes

Monad Design is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us. We may update this policy as the product changes and will publish the updated text and date on this page.
